I made the wedding cake I tried before (preparation weddingcake) on thursday and friday.
This was my instruction ;)
The blue icing covers chocolate spongecake, strawberries and choco whipp ;)
The white decoration is on
sprinkled with white chocolate shavings and finally stick the hearts in... ready!!!
I was so happy and relieved when I was done :) and I got such a cute compliment: "Yummiest wedding cake ever" :))) That makes me smile :)

Bye bye pastor Stephen
On June 12th we had to say goodbye to our corean pastor Stephen and his family. They are moving to Trenton, Ontario. Pastor Stephen arrived there after 3 days driving, his family will follow when their house is sold. Pastor Stephen was a big friend of all kids in church. They love him and he had always something for them, candys, suckers, crackers...
Minok was teaching sundayschool and worked in Minigo, where JJ goes to. The first time JJ was only going to her, till he got used to the others and we will miss her very much too. The 3 boys are very nice and full of joy and liked our germen "Haribo"-candies and my cakes. So we gave them one of our precious Haribo-packages and a big cake ;)
We will miss them here and hope, that we can visit them and the Glawatzkis in Ontario someday...
The church is praying for them...
I choose this cake, because they bought this cake at the springsale in small and liked it so much ;)

Cheesecake, cheesecake, cheesecake
Finally I tried canadien/amarikan style cheesecake, with creamcheese instead of curt cheese.
#1
cheesecake with creamcheese plain and with caramelsirup
#2
Cheesecake with creamcheese and strawberry sauce
#3
no-cheese-cheesecake with strawberry sauce :D Just with sourcream... that tasted more german-like and the canadiens at Nick's work even didn't notice :D
Want to see more cakes??? :)

My Birthday cakes
I now not very much people make their own birthdaycakes, but I do and I love it!!!
I was wondering how to celebrate my birthday this year, and Albine had a great idea: a girls-/ladiesnight cakeparty :) And it was awesome!!! We talked and laught so much and ate lots of cake of course. Here the cakes at the beginning of the party...
It wasn't really much cake left, after all ladies took some cake for their spouses. We have to repeat a cakrparty ladiesnight, it was sooo cool!!! After we bought our lot and Nicks parents were here on my last birthday I didn't expect anything for this year, but it turned out great!!!
Thanks for stopping by,
Rita

Lukas's 6th Birthday
My big boy turned 6 on friday. Wow, how time flies!!! I'm a mommy for 6 years now!!!
Here Lukas in the morning opening gifts from germany!!! Thank you sooo much!!!
We had rice-casserol with apples, raisins and cinnemon... his favorite menu :)
I asked him which cake he would like for his birthday, and he wanted strawberrycake... here it is.
Aren't they cute?! :D
Noah Jamie tried sponge cake the first time and he love it :)... my boy :D
For Saturday we planed a Lego-Birthdayparty. Lukas helped me with the preparations and did the invitations and the name tags. I'm so proud of him!
His crown
Mini-cupcakes
... and the Lego cake :)
At the party... all kids who were invited came and so we had 12 kids here (with ours). They had fun to play... of course Legos!!! and ate too less... we also had raspberry cupcakes and a legocake with m&m's... so the parents had to help eating :)
the goodiebags...
And the party was over...
Lukas was very happy with his presents, he liked the Legos the most... of course ;) Thank you very much for making my boy smile!!!

Easterbaking
Of course I had to make some more baking for Easter :) ... not really much, because we have to eat all...
The kids loved the decorated easter-cookies!!!
JJ asked for Smilyface cookies ;)
Lukas helped me and sprinkled the coloured sugar on the cookies.
Braided Milkbread, typical for Easter in Germany, so I had to make some ;) The big one we brought for the breakfast at church...
and the small one for us.
Bunny-cupcakes for the kids...
... and a bunny-cake for the parents ;) We brought it to Baumungs, we were there on Eastersunday!
