Vintage dinningroom pictures

Hello :)
I guess I better start to blog more often again, over the summer I didn't have very much time for blogging and crafting/sewing/baking, but I did some projects that I didn't share yet... here is one of them... our diningroom pictures :)

Very easy to make ;) I sprayed the old frames and the cutlery, clued fabric on the back of the pics and the cutlery on the fabric :))) That's it.

We had a nice summer, especially the last 3 weeks, when my sister from germany was here for a visit. We did lots of fun things, which I'm going to share an other time... Now school started again, Lukas joins grade 1 and JJ's preK is going to start on Tuesday :) Than I will have 4 mornings a week just with my baby (mostly sleeping baby :D) So lots time for lots things to do... I can't wait!!!

So, see you hopefully more often the next time ;)

my new amazing pincushion

I never had a pincushion but alreasy for a longer time wanted to sew one. But now I had a new idea :) Voila!

 Origionally this was a tealigth from the dollorstore... add some fabric, a styrofoam ball and some hot glue :)

 Now it decorated my sewing table... it was still a bit bleak... not now anymore :)

 The fabric I got from two very nice friends from Germany :) And it fits perfect to my sewing mashine :)

Ahh, I absolutly love it, it is so much joy to see it every day :)))

Willow Tree and 10 years a couple

Last week was really busy... On Thursday it was 10 years ago since we start dating.
Wow, 10 years sounds so long and we've expirinced so much, but the time also went by fast.
I love Willow Tree sculptures, they show so much emotions... and I thought this day was a perfekt reason to get some of them... and they fit sooo good!!! Lukas loves to play with Nick and show his legos ect... JJ often comes to cuddle and Noah Jamie looks back to me exactly like this!!!

Only Nick's hairstyle is wrong :D

Earring holder

My earrings were normaly in a small treasure chest and I had to search for the second one all the time, so I made this earring holder. I love to have my earrings organized now and I have space for more ;) ( I already got 3 new pair :D)

I love the white fabric and the black ribbon and sewed it together. Then I took a cheap canvas (2$ at the dollar store) and fixed the fabric with staples on the back, and ready. It was very easy and it it handy not to search for the second earring all the time :)

crown cushions for kids

Here the crown-cushions I made for christmas. They had to be something spezial!!! The kids still love them ;)
This was one of my first projects I did, since I started with sewing again...

coffeebox to savings box

Yesterday I changed an empty coffeebox to a savings box.

try to sell some things and save the money for the decoration I want to make in our new house. We are planning to build it this summer ;)
